Eventnote Terms of Use
On this page24 sections
Effective: October 17, 2026
1. Who we are
1.1 Eventnote is a mobile app for iOS and Android. It helps you keep slide photos, notes, voice notes, people, links and companies from events, and use AI features on them. These terms also cover your Eventnote account and the support we give you (“the service”).
1.2 The service is offered by Mohamed Ali Masmoudi, sole proprietor trading as Eventnote, Kittlerstr. 33, 64289 Darmstadt, Germany (“we”, “us”). The full imprint is at https://eventnote.app/imprint. VAT ID (section 27a UStG): DE368785382.
1.3 You can reach us at hello@eventnote.app and by telephone on +49 1520 2575857.
2. Acceptance
2.1 By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2.2 These terms form a contract between you and us. When you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to this contract (see section 22). The same applies to Google Play.
2.3 Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. It is information, not a part of this contract.
2.4 The sign-up screen links to these terms next to the button (“By continuing you accept the Terms”).
2.5 How the contract is concluded. Descriptions of Eventnote in the stores or on our website are not an offer. Account: you make a binding offer when you complete sign-up. Before you do, you can see and correct your entries, and you can open these terms. We accept by creating your account and showing you the signed-in app or, for sign-up by email, by sending the verification email. Paid plan: you buy in the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store shows the plan and price and lets you check and change your choice before you confirm. The contract for the paid plan starts when the store confirms the purchase and we activate the plan. The store sends the receipt. For email sign-up, the verification email confirms receipt and links to these terms; for Apple or Google sign-up, the signed-in app confirms it.
3. Who can use Eventnote
3.1 You must be at least 16 years old to use Eventnote. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian agrees to these terms and to any paid plan. If we learn that you are under 16, we close your account and delete its data.
3.2 If your country of residence sets a higher age for entering contracts or using online services, that higher age applies.
3.3 If you use Eventnote for your employer or your business, you confirm that you may do so. The terms are written for consumers (section 13 BGB). Where you act as a business (section 14 BGB), they apply too, except where a section says otherwise. Terms of a business user do not apply unless we expressly agree to them in text form.
3.4 Licence to use the app. You get a simple (non-exclusive), non-transferable right to use the app on your own devices for the time of the contract, anywhere in the world. You may not decompile, adapt or reverse engineer the app, except as sections 69d (3) and 69e UrhG allow. For iOS, Apple’s standard EULA also applies (section 22).
4. Your account
4.1 You need an account to use Eventnote. You can sign up with Sign in with Apple, with Google Sign-In, or with your email address and a password.
4.2 Give correct information and keep it up to date. Keep your password safe. If a third party uses your account, you are responsible for that use only where you are at fault, for example because you gave away your password. You do not have to prove that you are not at fault; we must show it. Tell us at once if you think someone else uses your account.
4.3 One account is for one person. Do not share your account.
4.4 You can delete your account in the app (Privacy settings). Section 17 explains what happens then.
5. Plans, prices and payment
5.1 Eventnote has three plans: Free, Plus and Premium. What each plan includes, its limits and its prices are shown at https://eventnote.app/plans and in the app. These terms do not list limits or prices, so the current figures on that page and in the store apply.
5.2 Prices are shown in the app, at https://eventnote.app/plans and in the store, in your local currency, with taxes where they apply. The price in the store at the time of purchase is the price you pay.
5.3 Purchase through the stores. Paid plans are bought and managed only through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store takes payment, sends receipts and applies its own rules (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms of Service). We use RevenueCat to check which plan your store account has. We do not receive your card or payment details.
5.4 Renewal. The store renews your paid plan for a further month or year at the price you agreed to in the store, unless you cancel in your store account before the renewal date (Apple: at least 24 hours before the period ends). We do not extend the plan ourselves; we give you the plan for each period the store confirms. You can cancel at any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
5.5 Cancellation. You cancel in your store account settings (Apple: Settings > your name > Subscriptions; Google Play: Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Eventnote account does not cancel a store subscription; the account-deletion screen says so and links to the store. When the paid period ends, your account moves to Free.
5.6 Price changes. We do not change the price of a running subscription on our own. A new price for an existing subscription applies only if you agree to it through the store’s consent flow. If you do not agree, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period and your account moves to Free. We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time.
5.7 Changing plans. You can change plan in your store account. The store decides when the change starts and how any payment is credited.
6. Refunds and right of withdrawal
6.1 Refunds for purchases through the stores are decided and paid by Apple or Google, under their rules. We cannot refund store payments ourselves. Ask the store: Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play through the Play Store help.
6.2 Consumers in the EU. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have by law a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 9, in Germany sections 312g, 355 BGB). For digital content and digital services, this right can end early once the service has started, if you expressly agreed to that and the trader confirmed it (section 356 (5) and (6) BGB, Art. 16 (a) and (m) of the Directive). For purchases in the stores, the store acts as the seller of the subscription, and it handles this agreement and any withdrawal request. Please contact the store. As the store sells and runs the paid plan, it also provides the withdrawal and cancellation functions, and we offer no withdrawal or cancellation button of our own.
6.3 We do not give refunds of our own for store payments. This does not limit your rights under law, for example if the paid plan is faulty or not as described (sections 327 ff. BGB).
6.4 You may need to tell the store about a problem within its time limits. Please also write to us at hello@eventnote.app and we will try to help.
7. Plan limits
7.1 Each plan has limits (section 5). We apply them in the app. If you reach a limit, the function stops until the next month or until you change to a higher plan.
7.2 Your text stays. Your notes, extracted slide text and saved transcripts stay in your account on every plan, including Free, as long as your account exists and you do not delete them.
7.3 Photos and audio. Slide photos and voice audio take storage space. Each plan has an allowance for them. If your account goes over the allowance of your plan, we may remove original slide photos and voice audio after a warning of thirty days in the app and by email. You can stop the removal during the warning period by freeing space, exporting your files or changing to a larger plan. Slide previews, extracted text and saved transcripts stay.
7.4 We may also limit use that is unusually heavy or harms the service or other users, for example automatic mass imports or attempts to get around limits. We will first ask you to stop, unless the risk is urgent.
7.5 If you downgrade, content above the new limits stays readable. You may not be able to add more until you are within the limits.
8. Your content
8.1 You own it. Your content stays yours. “Your content” means everything you add or create in Eventnote: slide photos, notes, voice notes and transcripts, people, links, companies, events, summaries you edit, and your questions to Ask. We do not claim ownership.
8.2 Licence to us. To run the service for you, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to store, copy, process, display and transmit your content, for as long as your content is in the service. We need this to, for example, upload and sync it, read the text on slides (OCR), search it, answer your questions, write summaries and reports, turn your voice note into text, show it to members of a shared event you join, and send it to the service providers who help us do this (section 13). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where section 11 or 17 says that copies remain, or where the law requires us to keep data. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. Every AI request is sent with provider data collection denied, so no model provider may train on your content. Anthropic stores the inputs and outputs of Claude requests for up to 30 days; every other AI request is sent with zero data retention (Privacy Policy, sections 3 and 7) (section 10.5).
8.3 Your responsibility and warranties. You are responsible for your content. You confirm that (a) you have the rights you need to add it and to give us the licence in section 8.2, (b) it does not break the law or the rights of others, and (c) where it contains personal data of other people, you may add it and have any consent or other basis you need. We do not check your content in advance. We do not have to.
8.4 Slides, talks and events. Many events set rules for photos, slides and recordings. Speakers and organisers often hold rights in slides and talks. Before you photograph slides or add them to Eventnote, check the event’s rules and the speaker’s rules. You alone are responsible for deciding whether you may photograph, keep and share them. Eventnote is for your personal notes and for sharing recaps with your team. It does not give you any right to copy, publish or sell slides that you do not have from the rights holder. In Germany, a copy for your own private use is generally allowed, but sharing is not private use. Rules differ by country.
8.5 Voice notes. A voice note is your own spoken memo about the event. Do not use Eventnote to record a talk, a conversation or other people’s voices without the permission you need. Recording other people can be a crime in many countries (in Germany, section 201 StGB). You are responsible for getting consent from the people you record. 8.6 People. You can save information about people you met (name, company, how to reach them, notes, a business-card photo). Only add what you may add and what you need, and use it only in the way the person would reasonably expect. You are responsible for any data protection duties that apply to you for this data, for example if you use it for your job. People data is private to you; it is never shared in a shared event. AI reads it only after you agree in Settings, and you can switch that off.
8.7 Reports and shares. If you export or share a report, a Recap image or a LinkedIn post draft, you decide what leaves the app and who gets it. We are not responsible for what the receiver does with it. Shared reports and images do not carry an AI note; before you share AI-written text, check it and, where needed, say that AI helped. We mark AI-written text as AI-generated in the app and, in machine-readable form, in the data export and in exported files where the format allows (AI Act, Art. 50(2)); plain text you copy into another app cannot carry a mark. If you publish AI-written text to inform the public on a matter of public interest, you must say that it is AI-generated, unless a person has reviewed it and holds editorial responsibility (Art. 50(4)).
8.8 Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback about the service, you give us a free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right to use them, change them and build them into the service without paying you and without naming you. This does not apply to your content under 8.1. Your moral rights (section 13 UrhG) and your rights under data protection law stay unaffected.
8.9 Freeing us from third-party claims. If a third party makes a claim against us because your content or your use of the service breaks the law or the rights of that third party, and you are responsible for that breach (intent or negligence, section 276 BGB), you will free us from the claim and reimburse our reasonable costs of defence, including statutory lawyer fees (sections 280, 249 BGB). We will tell you of the claim without delay, let you take part in the defence where this is possible, and not accept the claim without asking you first. This does not apply where we are responsible for the claim. You may show that you are not at fault. Your liability does not go beyond what the law already provides.
9. Acceptable use
9.1 Do not:
- break the law or the rights of others with Eventnote;
- add content that is illegal, or that attacks, threatens, harasses or exposes other people, or that contains child sexual abuse material or promotes violence;
- upload malware, or try to attack, probe or overload our systems or get around limits or security;
- access or try to access accounts, data or shared events that are not yours;
- scrape, copy or resell the service, or use it to build a competing AI model;
- use automated tools (bots) to create accounts or send large numbers of requests;
- exploit program errors, use third-party software or other tools to get paid features or other advantages, or to get around plan limits;
- decompile or reverse engineer the app, except as the law allows (section 3.4);
- misuse the AI features, for example to produce illegal content or to deceive people about who wrote a text;
- use Eventnote to secretly record or track people.
9.2 We may remove content or restrict features if you break these rules (section 16).
9.3 Reporting illegal content. If you see illegal content in a shared event or report that comes from Eventnote, tell us at hello@eventnote.app, which is our point of contact for users and authorities (Arts. 11 and 12 DSA; English or German), and say where it is and why it is illegal. We handle such notices as the Digital Services Act requires (Art. 16).
9.4 How we act on content (Art. 14 DSA). We do not scan content in advance and use no automated moderation. We act on notices and on our own findings. We may remove or block content, limit a feature or suspend an account where this section, section 16 or the law requires it. A person at Eventnote makes the decision, and we tell you the reasons (Art. 17 DSA). You can object at hello@eventnote.app and we review the decision. 9.5 Hosting. We are not liable for content that members add if we do not know that it is illegal, and we act without delay once we do (Art. 6 DSA). Section 18 stays unaffected.
10. AI features
10.1 Eventnote uses AI for these features: text recognition on slide photos (Advanced OCR), Ask (answers to your questions), summaries, voice transcription, and LinkedIn post drafts. We send the content needed for the feature to third-party AI service providers (section 13). The privacy policy tells you which data is sent.
10.2 AI can be wrong. AI output may be wrong, incomplete, out of date, or not fit for your purpose. Ask shows you the event, the talk, the date and the slide an answer came from. Please check the source yourself before you rely on an answer, copy it, send it to others or act on it. You are responsible for how you use the output. The service is agreed to work this way: AI output is a help for your own notes and is not promised to be correct or complete. The first time you open Ask, the app shows a notice that answers can contain mistakes.
10.3 No professional advice. Eventnote does not give legal, medical, financial, tax or other professional advice. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified professional.
10.4 No automatic decisions. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
10.5 We do not train AI on your content. We do not use your content to train AI models. Every AI request is sent with provider data collection denied, so no model provider may train on your content. Anthropic stores the inputs and outputs of Claude requests for up to 30 days; every other AI request is sent with zero data retention (Privacy Policy, sections 3 and 7).
10.6 Disclosure. When you use Ask or other AI features, you are interacting with an AI system. The app tells you so.
10.7 Language. The app’s translations into its 12 languages are machine translated. If a translation of the app differs from these terms, the binding version applies.
10.8 Do not enter highly sensitive or confidential data. AI features send your content to third-party AI providers (section 13). Do not enter information that is particularly sensitive (for example health data or other special categories under Art. 9 GDPR) or that you are bound to keep confidential by law or by contract, unless you have the right to do so. You decide what you add and are responsible for it (section 8.3).
10.9 Rights in AI output. AI output can contain or resemble material that others hold rights in, and we cannot promise that it is free of third-party rights. Check it before you publish or share it. You may use the output within the service and for your own purposes as far as the law and the rights of others allow.
11. Shared events
11.1 A shared event is an event that you and other people add to together, each from their own app. You can make one or join one with an invite code, link or QR code.
11.2 Anyone with the code can join. The invite code works for 7 days after it was made or reset, and anyone who has it can join without approval from the owner. Only share it with people you want in the event. The owner can reset the code (the old one stops at once) or stop sharing. Before joining, a person with the code can see the event name, dates, the owner’s first name and the number of members.
11.3 What members see. Every member sees everything added to the shared event: talks, slides, notes, voice note transcripts, links, companies and the event summary, together with the name of the member who added each item. Members see each other’s names in the member list. People you save are never shared. Think before you add something. Do not add anything you do not want every current and future member to see.
11.4 Who can change what. A member reads everything in the event but changes only what that member added. Only the owner changes the event name and dates. Any member can edit or regenerate the shared summary; the member who regenerates uses their own AI allowance.
11.5 AI in shared events. When a member uses Ask, Search, Related or the summary, the content of all members of the shared events they belong to can be processed by the AI features, as in section 10, as part of the shared-event service you join. This means that answers and summaries can contain text based on other members’ content.
11.6 Limits. The owner’s plan decides how many people can be in the event; each person’s plan decides how many shared events they can be in (https://eventnote.app/plans). What a member adds counts against that member’s own limits. If the owner downgrades, nobody is removed, but the event takes no new members above the owner’s seats and, from 30 days after its end date, no new content until the owner upgrades. Reading, Ask, reports and leaving keep working.
11.7 Leaving or stopping. If you leave a shared event, are removed, or sharing stops, each member keeps what they added as a normal event and loses access to what the others added. The owner keeps the shared summary, and members keep their own Ask chats. These may still contain text based on other members’ content, and we cannot remove it from what the other person already holds. If you delete your account, the items you added to shared events are deleted; if you made a shared event, sharing stops first.
11.8 Your duty to other members. You must have the right to add what you add (section 8) and you must respect the other members. Do not copy, publish or pass on what other members added unless they agree or the law allows it.
11.9 We do not check what members add and are liable for it only as sections 9.5 and 18 say.
12. Third-party services
12.1 Eventnote works with services of other companies (the app stores, sign-in providers, RevenueCat, and the providers described in section 13). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, not ours.
12.2 Links to other websites or events in the app, in content from others, or in AI answers are outside our control. We do not check them and are not responsible for their content.
12.3 You must follow the terms of your store and device maker when you use the app. If a third party service stops, changes or gets more expensive, a feature may change or stop (section 15).
12.4 Open source. The app contains open source software. Its licence terms apply to those components, to the extent they give you rights beyond these terms, and we give no further warranty for them. The licences are listed in Settings.
13. Service providers
We use providers to run Eventnote. They process data on our behalf or as independent providers, under the rules explained in our privacy policy. We choose them with care.
14. Availability
14.1 We work to keep Eventnote available, but we do not promise uninterrupted use or a fixed percentage of uptime. We owe the availability that is usual for a comparable app. Breaks for maintenance, updates, faults, store or provider outages and events outside our control are not a breach if we could not reasonably avoid them and we end them within a reasonable time. We announce planned maintenance in good time where we can.
14.2 We provide the updates that are needed to keep the app in conformity (section 327f BGB). You need a device and operating system version that works with the current app. We may stop supporting an old operating system version with notice in the app or the store.
14.3 You are responsible for your own device, internet connection and data charges.
14.4 Backups. We take reasonable care to keep your data safe. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of content that matters to you. You can export your data in Privacy settings as a JSON file. Photos, voice recordings and card photos are listed with download links that are valid for 7 days, so save them within that time. Section 18.4 says how this affects liability for data loss.
14.5 Security reports. Send security reports to security@eventnote.app. As the Cyber Resilience Act requires, we report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe security incidents to the authorities.
15. Changes to the service
15.1 Eventnote will change over time. We may change or remove features, limits, plans, third-party providers and AI models if there is a valid reason, for example a change in law, a change at a provider or store, security, technical progress, or a cost change of a provider, and the change is reasonable for you. A change never takes away the core function you booked.
15.2 If a change to a paid plan affects your use more than slightly, we tell you at least 30 days before on a durable medium (email), and you can end your plan free of charge within 30 days after the notice or the change, whichever is later (section 327r BGB, Art. 19 Directive 2019/770). Changes cost you nothing extra. The same applies to the Free plan as far as the law applies to it.
15.3 For the Free plan, we may change or end features with at least 30 days’ notice in the app, as long as your text stays available (section 7.2) and you can export it.
15.4 We may stop the whole service. We will then tell you at least 60 days before, so you can export your data. Paid periods that you cannot use are refunded through the store under its rules (section 6.1).
16. Suspension and termination
16.1 By you. You can stop using Eventnote at any time and delete your account (section 17). Cancel a store subscription separately (section 5.5).
16.2 By us for cause. We may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend or close your account for good cause (section 314 BGB), in particular if:
- you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the law;
- your use puts the service, other users or us at risk; or
- we must do so by law or by order of an authority.
A suspension is limited to what is needed and ends when the reason ends. If you remove the reason, we will check whether to restore your access. For a paid plan, any refund of the unused part of the paid period, if the close is not your fault, is handled by the store under its rules (section 6.1).
16.3 By us without cause. We may end a Free account with at least 30 days’ notice by email. We cannot end a paid plan without cause, except under 15.4.
16.4 Before we act under 16.2, we normally tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond, unless urgent risk or a legal duty makes that impossible. For content decisions, section 9.4 also applies. You can ask us to review our decision at hello@eventnote.app.
16.5 If we close your account, you can export your data for 30 days after our notice, unless the law or the reason for the closing prevents it (for example illegal content).
17. Account deletion and what happens to your data
17.1 You can delete your account in the app (Privacy settings). This removes your account and the content in it from our active database and file storage. Items you added to shared events are deleted too. If you made a shared event, sharing stops first and each other member keeps what they added. Summaries and Ask answers that other members already hold may still contain text based on your items.
17.2 After closure. When your account is closed, by you or by us, we delete your content for good. If we closed it, we first give you the export period of 16.5 and tell you the date of deletion in the notice. Trashed items, including the summaries and search indexes made from them, and trashed chats are deleted for good after seven days. Backups, provider copies and records we must keep by law may last longer. See the privacy policy for periods.
17.3 Deleting your account does not cancel your store subscription (section 5.5) and does not give a refund by itself.
17.4 Parts that must survive: sections 8.2 (limited to what is needed), 8.3, 8.9, 17, 18, 20 and others that by their nature continue.
18. Disclaimers and liability
18.1 We provide Eventnote with reasonable care. Your statutory rights if the service is defective stay unaffected (sections 327 ff. BGB). What AI output is agreed to be, and what it is not, is in section 10.2.
18.2 Unlimited liability. We are liable without limit: (a) for intent and gross negligence; (b) for injury to life, body or health; (c) under the Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG); (d) where we have given a guarantee for a quality or an outcome; (e) where we have fraudulently concealed a defect; and (f) where the law makes liability mandatory, for example Art. 82 GDPR.
18.3 Slight negligence (paid plans). For slight negligence we are liable only if we break a cardinal obligation. A cardinal obligation is one whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you can regularly rely. Then our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for a contract like this. For slight negligence we are not liable for other breaches.
18.4 Loss of data. For loss of data, our liability under 18.3 is limited to the cost of restoring the data that would have been needed if you had made regular backups and exports (section 14.4).
18.5 Free plan. While we provide the service free of charge, our liability beyond 18.2 (b) to (f) is limited to intent and gross negligence.
18.6 The limits in 18.3 to 18.5 also apply to the personal liability of our staff, helpers and agents.
18.7 Each of 18.2 to 18.6 stands on its own. Mandatory consumer rights stay unaffected, including those of the country where you live (section 20). Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law. We do not shorten statutory limitation periods.
18.8 Your liability. You are liable to us for damage that you cause by breaking these terms under the law, and under section 8.9.
19. Changes to these terms
19.1 We may change these terms for a valid reason, for example a change in law or court practice, a new feature, a change at a provider, or to close a gap or remove an unclear point. We do not change the main promises of the contract (the performance and the price) to your disadvantage without your consent.
19.2 We tell you of a change at least 30 days before it starts, by an in-app message and by email to your account address, and we explain what changes.
- If the change is only to your benefit, is purely editorial (spelling, structure, a clearer text with the same meaning), or is required by binding law or an order and only as far as needed, it applies from the date stated.
- Any other change applies only if you agree in the app (tap “I agree”). If you do not agree, the old terms continue to apply and you can cancel your plan or delete your account. We may then end the contract only if we can show a good reason (section 16.2) or under 16.3.
Changes that are needed at once to avert an unforeseen, imminent danger and to protect you from fraud, malware, spam, data protection violations or other security risks may take effect without the notice period; we then inform you without delay and give the reason.
19.3 The privacy policy is updated as set out there.
20. Governing law, courts and disputes
20.1 These terms and the contract are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer and live in another country, this choice of law does not take away the protection that the mandatory rules of the country where you usually live give you (Art. 6 (2) Rome I Regulation). Eventnote is offered worldwide through the app stores and is not aimed at any one country.
20.2 Courts. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim against us in the courts of the place where you live. We may sue you only there, as far as the law of your country gives you this right (Art. 18 Brussels I Recast Regulation for consumers in the EU). If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts of Darmstadt, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction (section 38 ZPO); we may also sue you at your place of business.
20.3 Apple and Google. Disputes with Apple or Google about your purchase are governed by their terms.
21. Dispute resolution and complaints
21.1 Consumer arbitration. We are not willing and not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (section 36 VSBG).
21.2 Complaints. Please write to us first at hello@eventnote.app. We aim to answer within 14 days.
22. Apple (App Store users)
This section applies if you got Eventnote from the Apple App Store.
22.1 Apple’s standard EULA. The licence to use the app is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ (“Apple’s standard EULA”).
22.2 These terms add to it. These terms supplement Apple’s standard EULA. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. We are responsible for the app, its support and its maintenance (sections 2.2 and 24.5). Where Apple’s standard EULA and these terms conflict on the licence to use the app, Apple’s standard EULA applies; for everything else these terms apply. If a clause of Apple’s standard EULA conflicts with mandatory EU or German law, the law applies.
23. Google Play
This section applies if you got Eventnote from Google Play. Google Play’s terms and refund rules apply to your purchase (Google Play Terms of Service). Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app. If these terms and Google’s Developer Distribution Agreement conflict on distribution, that agreement applies.
24. General
24.1 Whole agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Eventnote.
24.2 Invalid parts. If a part of these terms is or becomes invalid, the rest stays valid and the statutory rules apply instead of the invalid part (section 306 BGB).
24.3 Transfer to a successor. We may transfer the contract, with all rights and duties, to another company that takes over the service or the business behind it. We tell you at least 30 days before the transfer, by email, and name the new company. You may end the contract free of charge with effect from the transfer date, and paid periods that you can no longer use are refunded through the store under its rules (section 6.1). Your rights under data protection law stay unaffected. You may not transfer your account to others.
24.4 Language. The German version of these terms is binding; this English version is a translation for convenience.
24.5 Contact. hello@eventnote.app, +49 1520 2575857, Kittlerstr. 33, 64289 Darmstadt, Germany.
24.6 Storage of the terms. You can open, save and print these terms at any time at https://eventnote.app/terms (section 312i (1) no. 4 BGB).
