CES is mostly a show floor, so what you saw matters as much as what you heard. Here are the audited 2026 figures and what they mean for how you keep notes.

Four tips for CES
Photograph every booth and say why
With 4,100+ exhibitors you will see more products than you can recall. Take a photo of each booth you care about and add a few spoken words straight away: what it is, and why it caught your eye.
Pick three sessions in advance
There are 400+ conference sessions beside the show floor. Choose three you will not miss, and treat the rest as walk-ins. Slides from those three are the ones worth photographing.
Capture the sessions that are not on demand yourself
The 2026 app offered keynotes and select sessions on demand. Anything outside that, the app page does not describe. Write your own notes there.
Log each contact right away
The audit says 52% of attendees were senior-level. Write each person's name and company within minutes of meeting them, and mark January 4 notes as CES Unveiled so they do not mix with show days.
